Harissa Pickled Veggies: New to the booth: Inspired by Chef Amanda’s blended Iraqi-Sephardi heritage we’re excited to introduce our new Harissa Pickled Turnips; colored with a slice of fresh beet! The ultra versatile turnip is a traditional side dish is Sephardi cuisine used in Mezze spreads, alongside some of our favorites like pickled eggplant, beets and our roasted garlic spread.

 

Spreads: Roasted Garlic Spread (sold frozen) now whipped to a light, airy texture making it a perfect spread or flavor boost to any dish. Pesto (sold frozen) is back! Be sure to grab a jar of our Zero-waste Radish Green & Cashew Pesto. Made with fresh radish green and roasted cashews. Our spreads are truly all-purpose kitchen staples. Succession Fermentory produces sour and farmhouse ales using locally grown and sourced ingredients. They will be bringing the following beers:

 

Gaudium (4.9%) – Tart Farmhouse Wheat Ale brewed with @deercreekmalt Pilsner malt, pale oats, and raw wheat from our neighbors. Locally grown Trifoliate orange, coriander and ginger were added to the Koelschip, imparting the beer with notes of citrus and spice.

 

Baiya (4.8%) – American wild ale brewed with 30% honey from stellalou farm as a source of fermentable sugars. Conditioned with foraged wild chamomile and cultivated German chamomile, also from the farm. The finished beer was blended with a portion of our last batch of millefleur, featuring lemon balm, anise hyssop and rakau hops. This lively and dynamic ale leads with expressions of pineapple and tropical fruit and finishes with a gentle and refreshing citrus acidity.

KPM coordinates events with the USO in keeping our troops connected to their families while they’re deployed.  In the local area the USO has a station in the Philadelphia International Airport which can help lend some comfort to our troops while they’re traveling, the joint base at McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst which is a home to over 6,000 service members from all 5 branches and helps to provide support to service members and their families while they’re assigned there, and the Biddle Air National Guard Station which serves as a hub to all of the programs that the USO runs across PA and southern NJ.  There will be one or two ambassadors on site to provide educational information and volunteer opportunities as well as accept donations.
