PRETZEL PARK FARMERS MARKET
HALLOWEEN IN PRETZEL PARK
Saturday, OCTOBER 30th
10:00am – 2:00pm
A Public Service Announcement from The National Association of Squash Farmers (NASF):
“At this time of year NASF likes to inform the public that pumpkins are part of the squash family and contrary to Halloween traditions, pumpkins are as family friendly as other members of the squash family. Horror movies like “Pumpkinhead” unfortunately perpetuate the slander that pumpkins are somehow demonic. In fact the only documented case of pumpkins “coming to life” and harming people was in 1998 outside a Swedish IKEA. While it is true that 25 pumpkins at that site suddenly became animated and carved scary faces into over 50 people before being subdued, scientists consider this a solitary aberration perhaps triggered by the horror felt by the hundreds of departing IKEA customers who spent 12 to 36 hours trying to exit the store. Thank you.”
IF you are NOT vaccinated, you are required to wear a face covering at the market. If you are vaccinated, it is recommended that you wear a mask, but not required. STAY HOME if you feel sick or have been sick within the last 14 days.
